this is to anyone who has ever been deceived into thinking i was a moderately graceful human being--
so just a few minutes ago, i was standing on my desk chair.  i don't know why i was doing this.  to the best of my knowledge there was probably more of a lack of reason to do this.  but it's one of those with wheels on the bottom and can spin around, like when you're five (or eighteen), you see how fast and long you can spin yourself for until you pass out or something.  anyway, i was pretty mildly spinning on it when it completely randomly decided to tip over!  i almost was able to balance it out a little, but eventually i just took a tumble.  and this was in our dorm room... luckily my head is still in tact, but my feet caught the desk i was in front of on the way down (which hurt alot!!) and i also almost made my laptop fall to the ground along with my body and my pride.
end of story.

Hey what's shakin' everybody.
Today marks one week of living at Clemson.  Did I go home this weekend?  heck no.  Have I done anything this weekend?  heck no.  Did I meet anyone that was finally worthy of me finally getting to say they were cooler than the other side of the pillow?  Very yes.  Did she even flinch at the extremely witty simile?  Heck no at all.  Am I going to stop answering my own questions here prety soon?  Hopefully.
Classes have been pretty easy so far.  The only class i've had to take notes for yet are chemistry and psychology, other than that we've just been going over the sylla...sylla...syllabi(?)
Roomin' with Ross is cool too.  We haven't killed each other yet, although it's been tempting when he chooses to sit in the dorm room for hours in front of his computer talking to Jessica rather than doing anything(!) social.  haha.  Ok so he's been social.  But what is cool is that we're pretty all up in each other's grill, which makes for some pretty good accountability.
I went to Newspring for my first church service of clemson.  It was good.  It was HUGE.  I was late.  I still wanna visit some other churches though, I hear there's quite a few good ones around.  Oh, but anyway, the pastor at Newspring spoke on the first section of the first chapter in Haggai about rebuilding the LORD's temple.  My interest was pretty piqued, so I read about it and was pretty convicted about getting involved in some ministry down here.  I'm not sure what i'm supposed to do yet though...
Been going to frisbee games and FCA events, met some cool people there that i hope to get to know better.  So right now everything's going pretty great!
Peace out killas.
